I still can't believe you photographed lightning. I showed me ma your shots and she got all excited. Apparently a bunch of her astro-cronies are lightning-photograph enthusiasts and even after years of shooting eclipses and auroras and transits and occaltations and whatnot, most of them STILL can't do lightning. She told me to tell you to take pictures of noctaluscent clouds- they're clouds that appear around midnight, 1 am-ish, about halfway up the the sky and look sort of light hazy, horizontal aurora. Yep.
Actually, I set the shutter speed to a full 16 seconds and hope that lightning strikes within the frame while it's open. It's still blind luck, but with a 16-second window, you're much more likely to catch something.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
